How were you able to buy a Tacoma

Yeah, the 85 was a 1 year thing though with EFI AND a solid front axle,... understandable,... probably not justified though,... lol. I don't think an 04 Tacoma is at that status,... I don't think there's anything special about it,...
Exactly my point

First my dear wife gave me full permission to buy a brand new one, but I just couldn't do it. I rarely drive and the truck is mainly to haul stuff to work on our old house. I looked at online ads and dealer inventory for YEARS. I could not believe the price + mileage I was seeing, the frame rusting on older models scared me, but once in a while there would be a nice one with lower miles. I finally came to the conclusion I would be okay with a 4 cylinder with 4WD as they seem less desirable and are priced a bit more sanely. I ended up with a certified used from a Toyota dealer - SR5, 4 cyl 4WD with about 25k. The dealer was a little scummy, they pushed so many dumb warranties on me, but I resisted, but overall I am happy. I'm not going to wing any races with the 4, but it really isn't bad. Makes me drive more safely in a way.

Congrats!

How come I'm the only one who got his thru winning huge keno jackpot? Any gamblers out there?
I've spent roughly $20 in my lifetime,.... which was consolidated in to the couple years I spent in Reno. Had a buddy that stopped at Bully's on a daily basis, I just watched him feed that machine most times. Lol

I can’t gamble much either. I hate losing money. Lol.
It’s awesome when people can do it and win a big amount though like @4wd.

I don’t get keno, everyone I know plays it and I’ve heard gnarly wins like that one,but I’ve never won more then $5.
How ever I did turn my last $2 out of $20 into $785 on a slot machine.

All I know is I walked into Viejas casino with $40 and walked out with $74,000

I walked in to the mirage ended up married and I’m think my beautiful wife owed 74,000.00 in student loans. I took 5 grand and 6 years later two beautiful daughters and a great and beautiful wife. That was the only time I ever won in a casino. Best bet I have ever won.
