I joined in to see some tacos
Im getting rid of my 09 taco
For the 2018 trd off road 4x4
I see lots of 4 doors like a family truck
Makes me wonder why instead of the access cab
Is the 4 door better at off roading?

Welcome to the forum. Access cab and double cab in the short bed have the same wheel base. They will perform the same off road. It really depend on if you need the cab space or the bed space. If you need both get the double cab long bed but it’s wheel base is longer than the others so when off-roading you’ll have to keep that in mind.

They are? Haha. My guess would be that there's a little more weight on the rear end of the double cabs. Pretty sure they have the same wheel base, so that's the only difference.

Yeah im gonna need the bed space
I wish i dont need it tho
Bu then again no ones riding on the back
My 09 taco access cab was used for speakers

I was close to buying this yesterday. 2018 DCLB OR auto w/premium and tech package in cement. MSRP was $41,545 with rebates and end of month/year dealer mark downs it was going to be $38k then the sales guy found out someone else already bought it. Good thing because I still have my 2017 and don’t need 2 of them. They almost got me. Haha
