Buying a tacoma for the first time

Hey guys I'm going to be purchasing my first toyota here in a bit and just wanted to get any advice on the best years. I'm thinking between 2013-2016. I hear the 16s are pretty good. Any advice would be awesome. I do plan on getting a towing package.

Welcome. 2013 is a second gen. 2016 up is a third gen. A lot of differences.

Someone’s lying to you haha. Welcome to the forum.
Depends on the package. If you’re getting an OR the 16 comes with the crawl control @Bogunn is still on the honeymoon stage and can tell you how amazing it is. Otherwise if you’re just getting an SR5 or sport 13-15 with the lowest miles you can find for the best price.
