150,000 miles too many?

2009 TRD sport 4 door 4x4 $14000 150,000 Miles, full service history at dealership. Is this a good deal or too many miles?
I'd say drive it.. Check for any leaks and don't forget frame rust. If all that checks out I wouldn't be to worried bout it..

Welcome to the forum. It’s a fair price. @kp.taco has good advise. KBB and carguru is a good place to price check. 150k miles for a 9 yr old vehicle is a little high. 115k is average. If it’s mechanically sound and the timing was done at some point you should be good for a few years low maintenance. Buying a used vehicle you’re always going to have the unknown. Good luck in your searching. Let us know if you get it or keep looking. Pictures when you find something.

That’s a pretty fair price for a truck of that trim level and that year model.
That same truck is selling around $13k-$17k as a national average if you look around.
I would drive the truck like @kp.taco and @OR17TRD said and I would also look over the truck closely (or have a trustworthy mechanic look over it) to ensure all checks out.
Look at the Carfax or one of the other paid VIN histories to get the most detailed vehicle history. The dealer/seller should provide that.
Here are some other resources to check out for any used vehicle that you look at or intend to buy:

This site is great. It gives a fairly detailed VIN history for free.

NICB allows you to check if a title is clean, whether a vehicle has been wrecked and is a salvage title, or see if it’s stolen.

Toyota’s site to check for open recalls.

Government NHTSA site to check for open recalls on any make of vehicle.

Car Gurus is a great place to look at new and used vehicles for sale. It does a pretty good job of showing whether listings are overpriced or a good deal.

Isn't it a timing chain?
