What smartphone do you have?

I guess the Note 8, like my Galaxy S8, is water proof.
So far resistant lol, that last sentence tho

"The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is rated IP68, using the Ingress Protection rating system. The dust rating is 6 (highest level of protection), and the water resistance rating is 8 (water-resistant up to 5 feet for up to 30 minutes). Despite this classification, your device is not impervious to water damage in any situation."

That's their way of saying, "Go ahead, I dare you." But if it stops working it's not their fault.

I finally switched from iPhone Xs to Pixel 3. I like it. Battery life is a little better, feels much quicker and has a fingerprint sensor that works super fast. Face id kept pissing me off on iPhone lol. Ohh, and i get notifications for Taco forum now [emoji41]
Welcome to the wonderful world of Android. I dont miss my iJunk at all - especially that freaking iTunes.

Thanks lol. iMessage always kept me going back iPhone. I don't really miss it this time. I just tell people to send me videos through WhatsApp since videos are crappy through regular text message.

Yeah, that's one thing I haven't figured out - why the quality drops so far on video messages. I didnt know WhatsApp kept the quality. Thanks for the tip.

Multimedia message only alows up to a certain size pic or video. WhatsApp uses internet like iMessage but allows bigger files to be sent. US uses iMessage and the rest of the world uses WhatsApp lol. And since it uses internet you can use it anywhere there's WiFi for calls and messages

I can’t stand android products. I’ve tried a couple times. I’ll stick with Apple.
It's hard to move away from Apple. The ecosystem works so well. This pixel 3 is the closest android to Apple. It's basic yet still let's you customize exactly the way you want to set it up. Google assistant works much better than siri too. I'm happy so far. Not saying I'll never go back to iPhone though lol. Studies show that iPhone users in the US have a better chance on a 2nd date than any other phone. It's crazy lol. People don't like to text with green bubbles [emoji23]

I’m sure there are good android platforms. My experiences sucked. Lol.

I just like the freedom that Android offers when it comes to customization, and I dont have to use iTune!
