This just showed up on my Tacoma owners app! Not exactly sure what years are involved but I have a 2018 Limited Tacoma.
Having my 5000 miles check today they will also take action on recall.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Any issues with your brake pedal creeping? Any discoloration in brake fluid color in reservoir? Im assuming only models with craw control are affected.

FYI, I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport, V6, manual transmission (no craw control), and I had the same recall. Made an appointment to have it done last week, and upon arriving at the local dealer, was informed I would have to return some other time, as they did not have the parts required (amazing!!). Was called a couple of days ago after the parts arrived, and visited the place yesterday. What was supposed to be a one hour replacement of the master brake cylinder kept extending and extending, and a six hour ordeal, I was told I might have to leave the truck there overnight, which I absolutely wouldn't allow. They claimed they just couldn't get it right, without giving me any specificity (they claimed this was their very first work on this recall, as if no one has ever replaced a master cylinder). When I summoned the general manager and threatened to take action, the truck was eventually produced, allegedly with the work completed, which I am not sure is true. This morning, a very summary review of the engine compartment revealed a couple of forgotten tools, sitting right next to the battery, and which could have caused a catastrophic problem on my way home if they fell towards the belts right next door. So, be VERY careful with this recall. Incidentally, if anyone would be so kind to posts pictures of exactly what they were supposed to do and replace, I would be very grateful.

I just found them this morning, when I was inspecting the "work" they allegedly did, and since it is quite a drive, I'll be returning them early next week.

Tell 'em you'll trade the tools for a bed mat .....or an additional 2 years on your service contract...... or Case of Coors Light........or.........let your 'wants' run wild! LOL

Hah! No, I think I'll just return the tools and will steer clear of this place, even if it means a much longer drive to the next dealer.
Yeah, probly the right thing to do......definitely steer clear of them and find another reputable dealer.....they forgot their tools......wonder what else they forgot!
