Running 91 octane

Anyone run high octane and feel a big difference in throttle response and performance? Especially with chevron?
because I Do!!

I haven't yet but been thinking about it. Ive only got 700 miles on mine and been running 89. I dont know if its just because I'm getting a few miles on mine or the dealer had filled it up with some cheap stuff but mine is smoother with the 89.

I never ran anything but 91, shell, Chevron, sometimes mobil.

Think your gas is clean tho? It's not
If u are rlly concerned about the quality of your fuel, get a remote fuel filter relocation kit from urdusa.com

This is what 30k miles of premium fuel looks like from Kalifornia.

89octane from Shell.

But I’ve never put it in a glass....does 91 octane taste better than 89? [emoji848]

I dunno, but I can say it's cold as **** on the skin.
I can also say the lady didn't seem to notice one of her glasses was missing

Also, the trucks never had anything lower than 91 and won't use anything lower unless someone does some major work under the hood. So, no clue on 89 taste

This is my personal preference, still a tad cheaper than the 91but 91 still has ethanol so I stick with the 87 tune and run this. Feels a tad more peppy and seems to give another mpg or so even while stomping on the long peddle all week. 20190127_134606.jpeg
