I think I should play the lottery.
The Tundra was in the shop for the past week just got it back. The motor was leaking oil from the cam shaft and dripping on the heat shield. Not sure what I did to get so lucky. I’m 2 for 2 on new Toyota trucks. 2017 Tacoma leaky leaky and 2018 Tundra leaky leaky. Haha
Drivers side you can see the oil and the stain on the heat shield. SMH.

Both sides had a leak passenger side didn’t seem as bad but was also dripping on the heat shield.
Passenger side:93F19C9E-AE6F-44C1-AA84-C94A1AED3545.jpeg I kept smelling oil burning when I would get out of the truck. Took 7 days to fix and they had to take the entire top end apart. Replaced 13 gaskets and seals along the way. Would have cost about $3000 if I had to pay for it. Toyota paid the dealer $1238 compensation for warranty work. I’ve owned it for 3 months and put 1500 miles on it. :(

Passager side fixed:

Hoping that it’s good to go and that will be it.

When life gives ya lemons, grab the tequila and salt! That ALWAYS improves the situation. [emoji849][emoji23]

Look on the bright side....black oil stains match your orca paint scheme. [emoji23]

Naw man. Hoping the best for ya getting it resolved for good. No fooling.
