Atkinson cycle 3.5

To what extent?

If I run 110 would I make more horsepowers than 91?
If so, how much 110 would I need to run to purge all the 91 out of the tank safely without cooking the fuel pump?

Even then, vvti is most likely load based right?
So.... How about octane on demand?

Where's Tom Nelson at?

Yeah I ramble a bit when I don't sleep well.
Well yeah, I'm talking within reason, normal pump gas, not race gas.

My 02 Tundra was a beast!! That 4.7l i-force really made that truck move!!

However, I'm really enjoying the ride and features of my Tacoma. Only time will tell if my new Tacoma performs like the Tundra over "long term" ownership.

Dont buy the 2019 Tacoma without doing your homework
This Tacoma is a real piece of crap
Test drive this truck for at least 100 miles at various speeds the engine vibration is unbelievable for such an expensive vehicle
The throttle response is ridiculous and constantly feels like there is bad fuel in the system from Toyota doing too much with the engine and transmission to cut emissions and fuel economy
If I wanted a Prius I would have bought one now I own a $40,000.00 piece of crap
Good luck
That will go away after a couple of update. I was going crazy when I first got mine, now I love it, noise is gone.

I just bought my 19 taco and it is the TRD off-road and I haven't noticed anything like that yet but thank for the heads up and I'm sorry that your having trouble.

I'm still waiting for problems on my 2017 OR. Everyone is making me paranoid lol. I've got 3 recall letters in the mail, all minor junk. I've had 0 problems with any of their recalls. No ticking, no axle wrap, no excessive shifting. Pretty all around smooth truck to me. It must be a hit or miss problem with taco owners.

I’m with ya brotha. No real problems. No recalls.

I think it’s clean living and that God hates them.

(Kidding. Please no flames)

Some of the issues are variants on geography. Excessive shifting and gear hunting has been a problem for folks that live in the mountains and hilly regions. Those that drive on flat roads all the time won’t notice it. Take it into the hills and over mountains and you’ll notice it more. Axshole wrap happens more with lots of stop and go traffic. Complete stops pause and then a bump. Again if your in the country on flat ground with no stop lights you’re probably not going to notice it. The ticking is just a Toyota engine thing I’ve always driven toyota trucks and don’t notice that.
