Washing The Undercarriage

Did Toyota rectify the Tacoma rust issues ??? If so, what have they done to prevent future frame damage. What year did they implement a fix to the issue? Thanks

Well, they didn’t for the first and second gens. Let’s hope the third time is a charm and they got it right with the third gens.
But Toyota has always been good to repair/replace.

AInt used it yet since painting it. Probably wont hold up well, but it will still work.

You can wash the pipe with solvent that doesn't dissolve the pipe itself, then pass a soft (neutral) flame over the pipe and let it cool. The paint SHOULD stick then.

This is what it looked like after 15 years of use, before I painted it. I'm not worried at all about how it looks as long as it keeps working.

Only painted it cause I had a can of paint left over from a project.
