Sick and tired of bugs on my windshield

I don't know maybe I'm OCD or what but I can't stand bugs on my windshield. So I went and bought a
Auto Ventshade 25681 Bugflector II Stone/Bug Deflector It was $40.81 to my door.
I haven't received it yet, I should get it next week but I hope this does trick, I really don't like putting stuff like this on my vehicles but I'll get over it if it actually works.

Anyone else have one on their truck?

I would think about adding a clear bra or 3M paint protection film on the hood under the guard. I’ve seen these wear paint off the hood over time. The paint protection film can help. I don’t know how much it will stop bugs from hitting the windshield.
At the moment I don't know but I've read that they have improved it so it has minimal contact with the hood, if it doesn't work I'm only out $41

Tape, did you go with that color, or did you get one to match your truck?
