I can't stand any sort of jewelry, tight clothes, or even a watch is just an occasional thing. I had to get used to casts unfortunately.

nope, no way in hell could i get used to wearing casts or braces. either fully sedate me the entire time or dont let me survive the accident. i don't know how any of you guys do it, did it, if ever. must be a different strength that men have.

anywhoo, i don't really need a watch when i have a cell phone with me. when im ready to chuck the phone, time won't really matter. ;)

You're awesome T!!!

You guys are way cooler than me. I'm still wearing the Tag I got in '91.

When I left a dealership they gave me a solar powered Citizen that has a dial that can compute air speed, travel time, fuel consumption etc. I lost the manual so it's everything I can do to advance the date in a 30 or (God forbid) a 28/29 day year.

I recently won another Tag in a sales contest. Instead of the simpler (less expensive) one I suggested, they sent a quartz, with three small dials plus the normal hands, and it's got buttons. No idea what they do. The manual was in Babylonian.

Might as well have been.

Hats off to you guys that can use those Dick Tracy gizmos!

I bought a drone recently, the only instructions included were in what I can only assume is Klingon, and printed so small, I would have to stack 16 magnifying glasses on each other to read it anyway.
So I just guessed at how to charge it, and flying it was trial and error.

I have a "Learn Klingon" computer program from back in the day. Maybe I can help translate for you.[emoji2962]

I stopped wearing a watch on my hand after I realized that my smartphone is always with me. I do not belong to the directors, therefore, watches are not a dress code for my work)) However, sometimes I am sorry that this happened. I had a fun game with myself. I made a wish and looked at the minute hand. Each number has its own meaning. You can see it here if you are interested. Such a game brightened up the expectation. Now I pay attention to the license plate numbers instead of this.

Awesome!

And I now like the number 555.

What smart watch are you using?
I may be in the market for a new one.

Ive owned a Fitbit charge and charge 2 and got an Ionic for a gift 2 years ago. It’s been a great watch. I’ve never had any issues with it. I have recommended it to many people. Even on this forum.

Last Sunday it just went dark. It just turned off. I was able to do a hard reboot on it and charged it up to 100%. I then went into the app and updated it to 35.70.7.27 Later that day I hit 10,000 steps and it alerted me like it does. I had 95% battery life. About an hour later I went to look at what time it was and the screen was dark, it would not turn on. I tried the hard reboot again and it didn’t work.
I called customer service and they had me go through trouble shooting. After they couldn’t fix it they offered me 25% off to buy a new one.
I went to the internet and it seems like the update bricked my Ionic. Basically Fitbit just stole a $250 watch from me by making it useless from their update. Many people are saying they are having the same issue. I guess google is in the works of a deal to purchase Fitbit. All I can think is Fitbit just killed hundreds of watches to increase revenue by offering 25% off a new watch. Crazy to think a company would do that. I have not had any issues with this watch up to this point and it was in excellent condition.
I’m hoping they make it right. If not I’m going to be looking at new smart watches.
Call me old school but those things scare me .
