I'm 6'1"and shrinking and surprisingly I do have better legroom in the Taco vs my old 03 tundra that's why we road trip in it but yes the challenger is roomy :)

Cape, you know I was looking over your specs and it seems to me that you would be well over 300 hp, you got that thing set up right, 202 valves are pretty large in a 327 head, a turbo 400 with the Ford rear end. Double hump heads right? Was it set up that way when you bought it?

Yeah that's what I was thinking about it being in that range.

Well I went and did it anyway, you know I got my truck and I’ve had a little bit over a year and it’s got 38,000 miles on it.

my run around car is my 2012 Kia soul that I hardly ever drove but I want to something that would let me feel some G forces. I saw Shelby Mustang and the MSRP is $67,887 and I offer them $63,500 OTD and they came back with $65,500 and I just said no and left.

Then I thought about this 2019 Hellcat that I have been looking at on Sundays for the past two months, it has 2400 miles and out the door they wanted $65,866, I offer them $63,500 OTD and they took it. It comes with the complete challenger warranty like you get when you buy a brand new car which was a surprise to me. When I went over to the dealership I wanted to take the car down the interstate one exit and then come back and they said nope, we don’t let nobody drive hellcats but you can drive it around the auto mall here. I’m glad they don’t let anyone drive Hellcats because we know what test drivers would do. I just wanted to make sure that the transmission shifted out right and everything was good before I hand them a $63,500 cashiers check.

Man this thing is amazing, it’s like a luxury car with 717 hp, It has so many features going on with the head unit that would probably take me a couple months to figure it out. I am so glad I decided to get this car, it’s really helped my head.

I tried to upload a photo but it says it’s too large so when I get home I’ll get on my MacBook and show a picture if anybody cares to see it.

Friend of mine has a regular Challenger and a Hell Cat. He wants a Demon to go with them.

He's hard core Mopar. Put a little work into his truck too.

The car has been perfect, only one complaint is how loud it is and the drone.

People say "it's never too loud" IMO that's bullshit. The mufflers on the car is 5 inch round straight through so basically a cushion straight pipe.

I found a Borla ATAK and a factory exhaust manifold on Facebook for $1300, I offered him $900 and he took it. A new one cost $1800. I didn't want to cut the factory pipes in case I ever sold the car.

I knew it was gonna be loud but I installed it to be sure it would fit properly and it did so I ordered some Kook's muffler from Summit racing.

Since I don't have a lift and I don't want anybody touching my car I had to do this from the ground. So I took the pipes and place them in line together to try and determine where the mufflers are going to be placed.

So I laid Borla on top of the factory pipe because I was going to have to do this out of the car. This meant that I would have to mark it, install it, remove it, cut it, weld it, install it etc. The Borla is in three sections as the factory pipe was just one whole piece.

I did both sides the same way and then welded it.

It turned out excellent, I used a decibel meter to check my truck running at 80 miles an hour and it registered at 65 dB I did the same with my Hellcat and it registered 68 dB, prior to the changes the Hellcat was 76 dB with drone so it is significantly quieter.
