I just bought a 13 trd sport and I want to put 33" tires on it. I've been reading some of the forums and it looks like 33" tires won't fit on a stock tacoma. What's the best way to lift my truck without using pucks?

you'll need a 3"inch lift to run a 33x12.50 without a doubt.

I used bilstein 5100 front adjustable shocks on the 2.5" lift setting and rear 5100's. I used a 1.5" rear block lift under the leaf spring.
17" rims x 8.5" width at a 4.5 backspace. Wrapped with Mastercraft MXT 285/70/17's.
My daughter says the truck looks bad ass.
Front and rear shocks were about $400, rear block $65, rims and tires $650 & $850. Altogether with alignment was about $2,100. I installed the shocks and rear block myself.
Minor trimming required on a couple parts up front after removing the front splash guards.
