It didn't rain in Destin til around 3:30 pm. Sky got dark and the lifeguards changed the beach flag warning system from orange to red, then two red flags about 30 minutes later meaning EVERYBODY out of the water. My wife and in-laws said they have never seen the waves so big unless it was a hurricane. Not sure what tomorrow is going to be like.
 
So today I was driving thru the Chinese buffet parking lot and pulled up beside this nice 2016 gen3 CavalryBlue doublecab with a matching Ranch brand camper shell. Huge LED light bar across the top and two smaller ones on the corners of the hood. Great looking Taco and notice the "Cowboy Toyota" badging. This guy is from Taco Man's side of town. :)

Definitely a cool 3rd gen TexasBigBlue! Really like the LEDs! He may have just driven to Dallas to buy the truck at Cowboy Toyota or he may live in this area! Come to think of it my dad bought my Taco from there when it was new, back then it was Fowler Toyota though! However it was actually brought down here from either Richardson or Plano I can't remember for sure which one!

Speak of the devil... New contract, a little more in depth than how it was described. I decided to take today off. Then back to the grindstone. If anyone is wondering what kind of contracting I do, it is custom software, mostly taking legacy software and data and modernizing it. I take custom legacy software written in COBOL (mostly written in the 70s, 80s and 90s), write new software in a modern language while retaining the look and feel of their current software, reformat the data to a modern standard, and make everything run smoothly.

This current contract used some really off the wall, non-standard COBOL...
 
Had to go to Best Buy this morning and found two beautiful gen2 SR5's. The SilverMetalic is pretty much stock with a solid bed cover. The SuperWhite has a nice lift and after market rims. Both of these guys have been well maintained.
