Im new to tacomas and new to the forum, just recently traded in my 2010 kia forte, for a 2014 tacoma base double cab. V6 4x4 automatic. So far only have about 850 miles on it but absolutely love it. Hoping to learn a few new things from the forum, usually alot of very useful info on forums.

Im from WV and am a cable splicer for Frontier Communications. Hope to meet some new cool people.

Thanks guys. I see alot of people on here that have lift kits, will it void the warranty if the truck is lifted, just curious.

Aftermarket parts do not void warranty unless the part causes a failure and even then you lose the warranty on the part that failed not the whole truck.

As I said it wont. Don't use a leveling lift because they are usually spaces. 5100s and set them up one notch to level. I think it's .85.

Thanks for the input on the lift, i appreciate it. The other question i have is, my tacoma just has the crappy mist, low, high wiper switch, i have been looking at the intermittent switch on ebay, has anyone ever switched those two out, looks like its just a simple buy it, take the old one out and put the new one in, kind of switch, but i didnt want to buy it and then get in the mix of changing all that out, only to find that its alot worse than what i expected.

Welcome.

The wiper stalk swap is pretty easy. It is a very worthy mod.

So Where I have a 2014, i can just order the stalk for a 2012-2014 and just take the old one out and put the new one in?

Thanks mattnatti, i had been searching around a bit for a link, but im using tapatalk and it seems everything is harder to find on this app than on the regular forum.

Tacomawv, i am from man, just about an hour or so south of you. Usually make it to charleston a couple times a month.

Hi I just a 2012 tacoma and I want to make the stance a little higher I am thinking of going with 3" spacers in the front and 1.5" spacers in the back. But I am hearing positives and negatives about spacers.

Need helping choosing lift kit or leveling kit

I need help deciding on what to do to my truck. I want to lift it but not sure if I wanna use spacers cause I've heard mixed things or an actual lift. I want to be able to install it my self so I can learn and don't want to break the bank or mess anything up with my suspension. If someone could help that would be awesome.
Thanks
