Automatic to manual hubs? 1995

I'm looking to change my 1995 Tacoma's automatic hubs to manuals. Going to change the CV shafts while I am at it. Can I just buy the shafts that are for manual hubs and the manual hubs, or is there some reason I would have to buy the auto shafts and the conversion kit for the manual hubs?
