2.7 L opinion

I don't doubt that at all I'm just saying its a damn good truck as all taco models are. Passing power is awesome but passing in a 4cyl isn't dangerous to me.

Gotcha. The thing is, a few passing lanes are up large grades too. Its just a better fit for a v8 to be honest. Especially when u are dealing with rigs, they are all over highway 46.

I agree with that statement for sure. When I went up to big bear I did hate the incline in my i4 but I just pulled over to let people pass and stayed behind people towing still going close to the speed limit but I'm pretty patient when driving up hills. Also do you know how long is too long to have ECT engaged?

No, sorry..... i dont have that button.

Actually highway 46 and 41 out by shandon ca is very dangerous, 46 is the highway james dean died on to be honest. Theres alot of fatalities there. So, ill take my 350hp 20mpg tacoma over a 4cyl for safety sake.
Which model Tacoma gets you 350hp? Must be f'n insane to drive.

The Tacoma deserves a v8 model. The only way I'd buy a TRD pro is if it came with a v8. Not stickers.

My 2016 2.7 seems to pass fine. On steep hills it kicks up to 3000 rpm. But it ain't a hemi. I just like to have some 4x4 movement for the winter. Once it gets out of warranty I'm going to install a K&N filter so she can breath better.

I've seen a video on YouTube before of Toyota actually putting the tundra 5.7l v8 on a taco. And it was supercharged. If I find it I'll post a link. Technically since Toyota did it wouldn't it be stock....? :-D
