When did your Tacoma start to sound like a truck?

I'm at about 65k on mine and it's got so many different noises. A slight squeal on start up (belt), noisy leaf springs, an intermittent throwout bearing squeek (second one), a squeek on acceleration (I'm guessing my carrier bearing), a rattle going over rough terrain from the dash, and another rattle I've had since day one coming from the bed (have yet to figure that one out) and the whistling from my CB antenna. Not ranting just curious when others have experienced multiple trucky noises.

My leaf springs have been crying for some time now. Ever since I installed Hawk pads my brakes sound like they are metal on metal when using moderate brake pressure. I didn't mind the normal slow speed squeak but the other noise is bad. Lastly I get a constant squeal from what I think is the front end. I believe it is coming from the front wheel bearings.

I HATE these extra noises.

For me it's kinda the opposite from what you're referring. Mine started sounding more like a truck when I installed my CAI. Gave the engine a deeper tone.

I think it was after my first few desert runs when I heard my springs creaking once I got back to the city. I freaked out and ran to the dealer thinking something was breaking.

I thought it was noisy then... After my LT install, it's a goddamn shopping cart!! hahahaha
