What brand of Wax do u use on your truck

Going to try Mothers Clay Bar first followed by Meguires wax ...
I like Griots Garage sealant and cleaner all-in-one. Used it on my '99 4Runner and it really cleaned up the paint nicely. Sealant is better than wax because it will last a lot longer. But you'll still want to run the clay at first.

Groits makes excellent stuff!! I like the turtle wax ICE... easy on/off!!! I like any product that protects the paint and does not involve lots of labor and time to apply. Tried this stuff.. seems to work???? http://www.fastwax.com/

Of all the members of this forum, Palladium is the only one who has mentioned Zaino. And I am surprised to find so many members preferring ICE. Comparisons of Zaino and ICE can be found on the web and photographs show Zaino as being a much deeper and more lusterous shine.

Zaino is a polymer polish/cleaner that takes a little more time and effort to apply, but lasts and lasts and lasts between applications. The extra time and effort will pay off between applications and in terms of the surface protection. Water beads up and dirt and grime seem to just rinse off. Bird droppings and air pollution residue are easily wiped away off the Zaino protected surfaces. Super. I can't really tell you how nice it is to just wipe away crud like that. You have to experience it.

Auto detailers that advertise showroom quality detailing? Zaino.

You can't find Zaino in stores like Walmart, etc. You can order it from the Zaino store on the web.

A clay bar is a clay bar. Any brand will do. Differences arise in whether a polishing and surfacing product is a paste or liquid and its chemistry. Detailers have told me that many products are otherwise repackaging of the same thing with only a few unique stand-outs like Zaino.

Zaino is applied in three coats after the top-down rinse and clay bar. That is followed by microfiber rubbing on of a Zaino top sealer. Make life easy when doing the three applications by getting a cordless rotary buffer (A Ryobi is cheap enough).

I have used this stuff called Collinite Insulator wax for a few years with great results on all my vehicles. Its also very easy to use and lasts long which counts a lot for me.
Zaino is very popular with the Corvette and sports car gangs and I have a Corvette owner friend who swears by it.
I may try it one day, but probably not because it seems like a whole day or two commitment to use it correctly. (I'm a bit lazy in my old age).
Love the comment above about the Turtle wax not judging you for being slow!
