Let's see your CB!

Looks familiar.

What do you run? A friend had this an has been bugging me for two years to sell him my 29. He told me the other he bought a general hp40w and used it for a week didn't like how he had to run new wires in his Pete for it said he'd lose out but would trade me for my 29 setup I said sure. It's a high powered radio he says he has $500 in it it came from radio active radios and he had it all done up. Only bad thing he only gave me the radio an power wire an I gave him everything oh well I got a mount of a friend for ten bucks borrowing mic till I find what I want to buy all I need is the screws to hold it into the mount but its all wired up and works great.

I'm running a Connex 3300HP which is basically the same exact radio. I've never actually used the extra watts from the radio itself. I have it dialed down to about 1 watt and have it running through a Fatboy 2 pill. You'll be happy with it, they are awesome and bulletproof.

Hey Proforce,

Hows your setup work with the antenna mounted just aft of the cab. I've read a bunch of the debates between mounting there vs. the aft of the bed? (Considering that once mounted, it's properly dialed in of course). Any issues, problems, interference, etc.?

I've seen a few of you running the Cobra 75 WX ST. I was thinking about this for my Taco, primarily for trail running. I'm just not sure it would put out enough sound. Nothing's worse than not being able to hear your radio when people are trying to tell you you made a wrong turn. ;)

What do you guys think of it?

Thanks.

Most seem to like them. Just get an external speaker and you are good to go.
