What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Called Toyota Parts counter and added 84162B to my order, part # 90011-01058.
Bulb is dead, tested it....can't see my fog light switch at night Only took a sec to pop out the switch. I wasn't about to go unbolting the dash to get to it like tmreyes1 did to move his. Thin flathead screwdriver to the top of the switch just enough to pop it and it fell out. No damage to dash.

Hey Byrd, I need to replace two bulbs from those switches. What kinda damage did Toyota charge for those?

Not sure, haven't found him yet. Judging by the droppings I'm thinking its a mouse. Need to block off the access intake.

Depends on which switch as they use a different bulb in each one, the base of the cap is a different size on each as is the bulb wattage. What you get is the bulb and the cap. You can't just pull out the bulb, it's made as one piece. The one for the fog light switch is a 14v 0.84w and cost $4.95. Places online carry them a little cheaper but after shipping is added your paying more. Also some switches take 2 bulbs.

Nasty, yeah that looks like field mouse droppings. I covered my access hole up when I changed out my filter with a washable A/C foam pad, I bought a 15" x 24" pad and just cut what I needed and installed with 2 clips & screws. I didn't have any droppings but a mess of leaves. With the 2nd filter I shouldn't have to change out that cab filter as often.

Great, thanks for the info on both projects!

Drove to work & back and then.....

I changed out my antennae got tired of the factory one hitting low branches and whacking my cab when I went thru the back alley to park in the backyard instead of the street at my house. Also got confirmation today of my Devil Horn order.

Antennae is a 14" Metra metal encased in rubber, gets same reception as the 32" factory one in the city. I'll carry the factory one with in case I go cross country and need it for longer distance. And yep looks like more rain :glare:

Thanks to this bad boy I got it to fit with the tailgate shut, just need to get materials to build an awning and put plywood on top. then It should fit an 8x8 tent.

Today so far fill up the tank. $3.15 a gal. at least the price has been dropping

Stopped by Toyota and picked up my little bulb w/cap so I can put it in my fog light switch and keep my fingers crossed that it works.
The guy that greeted me at the door said I had nice lookin wheels I said thanks, their factory. He said really he didn't remember any that looked like that. I didn't tell him I had painted them flat black and the emblem red in the center cap.

Also found the transparent covering adhesive paper I was looking for....at ACE hardware, got 18" x 9' roll for $4.99 so I can put my forum sticker inside the back window. It's removable so I can switch stickers out from color to white from time to time. I like that idea better.

Alright Fog light switch lights up. All my dash lights work now including my 4x4 switch
