Nice truck Kona. I'm on Kauai and Maui every other year. Love it out there.

Is the water crossing in Mojave avoidable? It looks pretty deep! And I have lighting wired pretty low under the bumper to be submerged. Also don't have the diff breather mod done yet.

Your truck is capable. I was plenty of wiring underneath my truck and never had a problem. I have MT and I've never broken anything in the 7 times I've run the Mojave. I didn't crash two times but that was my fault. :whistling2:

The water crossing is gone now but it was never that deep. 2 feet was the most we've seen and most of the time the water didn't depth didn't reach the cab. I don't have a diff. breather either and when I change my diff fluid there was no water inside.

If you really want to go to the Mojave you'll be fine.
 
Got mine ORIGINALLY to haul a damn quad out to the desert.... That never happened.

Now I'm building it to cross rough terrain and awesome speeds for the adrenaline rush.

I'll be there for the next wheelin trip unless there's a parking lot meet the same day. Parking lots meets make me feel good inside.
 
Come on. Now I know there's more people building trucks on here. Don't let Kona be the only one in the rocks. Hahaha.
