2016 auto transmission vibration

I have a 2016 trd off road access cab and have 250 miles on it and noticed the vibration on deceleration also figured it was tires but probably not now!!! I will have to wait and see what Tsb,s come out but glad it's not just me being nuts lol!!
Some of what I notice I think maybe exhaust harmonics. It will be interesting to see what Toyota comes up with.

Same experience here. Also a high pitched hum at around 50 mph. It seems to only make the noise when not in the throttle then goes away when you get back in it. Not really loud, but noticeable. Love the truck though and expected minor issues on the new model.

I get a vibration when braking under 20mph. 2016 off-road LB it has almost 1k on it and has done it since I got it. I am pretty sure it's a shudder from the Trans when it down shifts from 2nd to 1st.

Yep. I just got '16 TRD off road 4x4. Vibration @20 to 30 mph, more pronounced in deceleration. Dealership had it half day yesterday only to say they don't know what it is. O3pened tech case with Toyota.
Same here kept my truck 2 days.

have a 2016 trd offroad acess cab with same type of vibration at 15 to 30 mph more on decell very noticeable have met with a fts from Toyota no word on fix have tried different things with no luck.you need to make sure a case is made on this with Toyota or not much will get done. this is how they find out there is problems.it is a driveline vibration we have proven this for sure.

I opened a case with Toyota special care. I explained the general concerns about the auto transmission in the V-6. I had an agent look into any potential updates on the 2016 transmission. None are in the works. I put in a request into the specialists (engineers) to look into it. The agent said we all need to open a case to make a difference. Google Toyota support & help make a difference if you can. I have a 2016 Limited.

I have a 2016 trd off road access cab. It had a vibration around 25 mph ish. Vibration was more pronounced on deceleration. After arguing with the dealership that it was a driveline angle issue (common on the past years) they opened a case with toyota. Low and behold they ordered leaf springs with different blocks to change the angle and a damper that goes in the steering wheel. All parts that fit i think 05 and up that were in stock at the warehouse. There is plenty of info on this subject if you search. Parts installed were 48210-04830 spring r/r 48220-04470 spring l/r 45713-35040 damper steering. The vibration is 95 percent gone. I will live with it unless i get a pinion seal leak and i will flip ****. The truck has 7500 miles. Its done it since new.

Mine does it too. I just had my truck at the dealer for it. I specifically asked that they check the driveshaft, but instead they did an alignment and balanced the wheels. Obviously this had no effect on the vibration. I'm going to try a different dealership and hopefully get the same fix that you did.

I have a 2016 DBL TRD off road that i purchased on the last day of the year in 2015 it has an insane vibration in the gas pedal, steering wheel that emanates into the entire cab i made a video of a bottle of water sitting on the lid of the center console and the water was shaking insanely while stopped at a stop sign it now has 28000 miles on it and it seems to be getting worse it even feels like it cycles i have taken it to the dealer in santa fe 3 times and the toyota regional engineer has looked at it and they keep saying that it is "operating to manufacturers specs" when sitting in stop and go traffic the headrest of the passenger seat vibrates like the magic fingers machine at the motel 6 from back in the day i feel nauseous and dizzy driving this thing after only 4 hours i also have a dodge 4x4 3/4 ton diesel with over 200,000 miles on it that is smoother than this vehicle i love the truck except for the vibration i don't mind that it only gets 14-16 mpg on the highway and that it wails like a banshee even after having the door mouldings replaced twice it may be "normal" but its not "right" i have contacted a law firm in california that is working on another class action lawsuit against toyota and they are going to do some research as well if enough people come forward maybe toyota will acknowledge that there is a problem and come up with a fix toyota is notorious for denying engineering flaws my 2000 tundra comes to mind the rotors were warping every 3000 miles and they said it was normal finally they issued a recall and started manufacturing rotors that were not prone to warping....

i had one flash done november 3 apparently there was another one issued on november 15 i took it in and they didn't do it i now have a case started with toyota they are being very lame said there are no reported issues when i mentioned this forum they said they do not acknowledge these forums.....

Is this a non-issue for the 2017 TRD off-road?
I don't have this issue on my 2017 off-road. I have other issues but not this one. They are fixing this issue with new leaf springs and a shim added and a steering wheel dampers. I'm thinking most of the 2017 come with these done. I haven't heard of many people with 2017's complaining about this issue.

The last I heard this tsb doesn't include TRD OR's. Have you heard differently?

I have 2017 sr5 4x4 300mi, no lift, have a vibration 55-65 mph. Feel it in steering wheel and see it in rear view mirror
