I have a 2015 Tacoma TRD With a 6" Rough Country Lift and 12.50-35's When going into right-hand turns I get what appears to be a grabbing from possibly the left break or something. You have to hold the steering wheel to maintain control from it. Unsure what this is but have heard others mention it as well. could it ba a false message being sent to the ABS/ Trac Control or what.

Please help it either gets fixed or wife says it goes only 12,000 miles 3500 with the lift on.

Thanks,
DC

Only one thread needed.

If you are getting a VSC light in the dash while it's happening, you need to reset the VSC parameters so the ECU learns the lift but it doesn't always work. The dealer can do this but they will charge a diagnostic fee of about $100 or you can do it at home but I don't know the process and I don't think it's a thorough.

Turn truck off. Put key in ignition. Turn key to On then off 3 times. This will clear ECU computer memory and allow it to learn.

Don’t turn engine over on the ON position. But stop at the ON position and then go to off. Wait 1-10seconds repeat 3 times. You should see computer light blink then you know memory was cleared for new learning.

It almost sounds like you're in 4wd (if 4wd) hows alignment ? That's alot of lift, any codes being thrown ?

really need to see first hand tho'..

This sounds like the GM fix for the "chip on key" glitch for the OEM security anti theft system...

Please don't tell us you do a 6" lift alone? 3" would be the very max and 2 1/2" is what is recommended.

He's got a combination of lift factors, some thru suspension & the rest in body lift I suspect...

Sounds more like alignment the more I think about it...

Is that what that POS consist of ?? I almost went to work for Lonnie (developer of rough country products) but the guy was such an arrogant asshole I couldn't see working for him long before I knocked him on his ass haha...

Funny. I currently want to knock my boss onto his ass. The lifts sell though because of their price point.
