6X9 Front speaker fit pictures

Removed old speaker from housing and cut out all plastic bracing. Then use 1 1/2" screws to hold new speaker straight in hole of old bracket. Then wire using existing plug. Bolt back. Your done.

Did you rewire them?
If not, the signal isnt optimal.... the signal goes to doormount tweeter 1st, then down to the main speaker. The pink or purple wires need to be snipped to have clean signal go thru the new drivers.

Its a little tracing, but u can see what i mean... crutchfield and wire manual verfied the signal path, but im not 100% sure how it went... i remember something about the purple.

Yea. Buddy. Cut those tweets off of new 6X9. Down to 2-ohms. Much better.
