Cloudy with rain and snow in the evening, becoming all snow late. Near record low temperatures. Low 32F. Winds N at 15 to 25 mph. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches.

Woot! :w00t:

I get to play in the snow again on my day off

We've got a good wet 4" to 6" here in central Colorado. We need it. I get to commute to work in it early in the morning. Ive never missed work because of snow since I've driven a taco. That's 11 years now.

That storm is what is coming here. A lot of folks here are freaking out about it. I'm like bring it. 3~5" is nothing for a Taco. The end of Feb we got about 20" in 2~3 days and I didn't have any problems going to work. I was one of the few that did make it in. I like easy money. Wish I was working Fri but will be off when this storms hits tomorrow night. At least I'll be able to go and play around in it. That is if it piles up. Last time we got about 10" in Mar.
When it snows here a lot of the idiots end up in the ditch so driving the highway is safer for a few days.

LOL! I hear that. The snow plows do a great job up here and most of time they are out all night but that sure doesn't help the crazies down one bit. With a taco and reduced speed I feel like I can go anywhere. Of course I now have the sport package and not the or package but I don't think that change much. Black ice is my concern and it might be the big thing out there this morning as it looks like most of the snow melted through the night but its 22* out there right now at 4:10 am. Ill find out soon. ;-)

Today's weather report brought to you today by Tacoma Forum .com !!

Sorry byrd ,i couldn't resist that!!

BTW, I was almost disappointed. Roads were much better than I expected. Obviously no trouble. With my mostly ice covered mirrors the back up camera was wonderful parking at work. I hate pulling straight in.

I gotta promote THE BEST source for weather, nationwide.

You're paying for it. There is no hype or marketing. Equal
coverage for all areas. Satellite, radar, observations, forecasts.
Watchs, Warnings, Advisories.

Of course, I'm quite biased.

But BirdDawg nothing shows it better than a pic, I took this one about 10 mins ago. Just starting to snow here at home, at my place of work 20 miles south of here it started right at 4pm. And yes everyone and their kid brother & sister is out and causing all kinds of traffic problems.

That ain't snow, that's dandruff. LOL
I had a good 8" on top of my truck this morning and now it's all gone, everywhere. We sure needed the moisture.

 I did say it was just starting to snow when I posted the pic. It's dark out now and still coming down so have to see what it looks like in the morning. Funny you say dandruff, I said the same thing at work when it started. Everyone was in denial that it could snow in May. Guess they forgot May 15, 2005 when it did. ;)

Snowed near wichita ks today i was in shock latest I've ever seen it snow in my 24 years

Not a sign of snow this morning but we have a heavy frost!
This unseasonable weather is interesting. Hope our crops fair alright.

No problem with that white stuff they call snow here in NC  cloudy and dry with perhaps a slight chance of rain  ain't no problem for a Tacoma

Yeah all our snow is gone as well. There is a little still on my Chevelle, oh well, guess I can play in the mud since it all wet out there.

We needed it. Both carter and horsetooth are over 90% full (runoff has barely started). Everything is green. Ground is soaking up water. We went turkey hunting out in kersey Wednesday. Snow only got heavier as the day went on. But this is the fullest I've seen the south platte in years. Can't wait for next week. Gonna get the yota muddy up in the mountains

That is really good news. The Arkansas is still low. This drought is taking its toll. Nearly a quarter of the pinion in this area are dead from Beatle kill resulting from a weakened condition due to lack of moisture. This may be a horrid year for fires. I'm really concerned.
Did ya see any turkeys?

I thought you guys had a bad year last year. I made a trip out there in June to Grand Junction and back to KC. Right after we left to come back they closed I-70 due to fire just east of Grand Junction. I took this photo looking North of I-70 in Denver. The other pic is of course the outside temp at about 5pm your time.
