Best tires?

I was planning on K02s but Nitto sale was on for buy 3 get 1 free. Nittos $165 per tire. K02s were $222 per tire. Easy decision. $900 or $500? Ummmmm. Ill take the Nittos!
Those stupid bfgs are always overpriced.... smart move.

I took a chance on General Grabbers and absolutely LOVE them. I’ve never seen a tire get such good traction in rain or snow.

Last count, I'm on set number 11 of bfg at and love them all and will probably stick with them. The tire guys I know that have been selling the Wild peaks say they're a decent inexpensive tire but no longevity reports yet. All my friends that run nitto love them and I've been around to see them last for some impressive miles, my best friend has gotten over 50k and others that claimed more but I can't verify. My tire guys keep pushing me on General Grabber ATs, says they do everything my beloved bfg at tires do but I've never been good with change. I will admit that I do have grabbers on my offroad trailer though... :)

Also wanted to add that once or twice a year Costco and BJ's have a sale on bfg and I could have gotten a set of 285/75/16 installed for around 900$ but I passed cause I want a new truck instead. For whatever reason 285 on sale are cheaper than the 305 or 265/75 during the sale plus the free install.

I wanted BFG Ko2s but didn’t want to swing it but spring summer I want to get Pro wheels so I might treat myself then. So far so good but for 625 out the door I didn’t blink a eye.

I was warned not to buy a “ club tire” because they are made for “clubs” and if anything goes wrong it’s a hassle with manufacturers. Not sure that is true

This set is from Costco and they said for the life of ownership, they would do scheduled rotations for me. It's easy enough to do myself and they're out of my way to go just for that. Ive never had a problem to have fixed by the club store, they're almost 8 yrs old and have around 40k on them and pretty much shot from dry rot. Still have some tread but not a lot of traction for my long bed 07 frontier, at least without all the weight I have in the bed for winter.
