2018 TRD PRO Calvary Blue

Very nice truck! If you intend to go off road in harsh trails, those steps are going to bend. They are no rock slider. A few guys have posted videos on YouTube were you can see them bent.

Don't plan on off road with her. It has the Fox suspension in it.

Well, it seems that you bought one of the most capable truck to go off road but you won’t. I bought my TRD Off Road 2016 in the optic of going off road as much as I can with it and that’s what I have done so far, without modifications. The body is full of scratches because of trees in narrow trails but I don’t care, it was fun as hell. I have absolutely no regrets about it and I can tell you that you have one hell of a truck to do just that. Off roading.

So, what are your intentions with yours? You probably bought it for a good reason no? Can you tell me more about it? I won’t botter you anymore with my interrogations if you can tell me your reasons. But anyway I won’t either in the other case!! [emoji23]

He obviously lives in a climate that requires a capable vehicle just to get around. It looks like there is already snow on the ground. Not everyone wants to beat there brand new truck up.
Maybe he’s a home owner and needs a truck and doesn’t like the other mid size options on the market. Maybe he can afford to have the best option and doesn’t want to hassle with modifications. He’s got good taste IMO.
I want to know why it matters to you?

Good point. I was curious about his reason’s and curious too about his job! I feel that I don’t have the right job sometimes!!! It was not jealousy, my truck is as capable as his, apart from the ground clearance but I will get to it (3 inches lift) one of these days.

I know it could sound a bit rude from my part but it was not my intention to make him feel bad or anything. And if I did, sorry about that.

Awesome truck, good luck. What part of NY are you from ? I'm out on the east end of the island and haven't seen that color around yet..

I had a new one back in 1984. Put 5" of lift in her and 4 wheeled the crap out of her. I bought this new because I love Toyota trucks and know what they are about. I don't want to take this one off road, but one never knows. I love the look and color of it. This truck is capable of going just about anywhere off road but I don't want to wreck it or scratch up the beautiful paint. I guess more for show knowing it could be taken off road.

Ok I understand. I must admit that my firsts scratches on my 2016 were a bit painful!!![emoji3]

I was going between that exact truck and the orlb that I ended up getting because of the long bed and the fact that they wouldn't budge on the pro at all. Love the color!
