Once you have the Entune app and are signed in connect your smartphone to your truck.
Hit the apps button and it should say “a mandatory update is available”. Then it will download the apps.

Or it can use your phone’s data. That’s how the weather and map updates work (unless you’re in HD data range).

It tells us All about Entune in the owners manual, how and where to call anywhere in the world. If all else Fails Read the manual from front to back up and down , back and thorth and side ways ! Or get to know your stealer ship guys I'm sure they would love to help you out....

Well I did review the manual still had no luck getting the Entune download to Tacoma . Went to dealership and they said it is not available here in Canada for Tacoma . Something about a licensing agreement .

What’s that aboot?

Not sure . Dealership advised it would be 2019 before it was available for Tacoma in Canada . I asked if my truck would be available to access it in 2019 model year . The dealer rep said I would have to buy a new 2019 if I wanted the Entune. Seems like a bit of a rip off to me that I would have to buy a new truck rather than Toyota providing system upgrade on the same hardware in my 2017.
