Lift with new UCAs?

Ok guys go easy on me this is my first time using this app. So what I’m currently running is a rough country spacer lift and to say the least I’m not very happy with it. I’ve been doing my research online and decided to swap it out with an EMU complete lift. The only issue I have with this is that I don’t have enough money to move around to get some new UCAs with it. So I guess my question is would it be unbearable to drive the truck with just the lift and put off on UCAs until later on? Or just order it all at once?

do it at 1 time unless u fancy buying new front tires, 2.5" is grey area for alignment.
3" seems to be that erryone needs new uca for proper alignment.

Welcome to the forum. Bojangles is right. When you start getting into the 2.5-3” lifts it becomes more difficult to get a good alignment. I have a 3” lift and my local off road shop was able to get a good alignment without new UCA. It’s one of those things to do or not to do. You won’t know until you know. If you have the ability to wait and do it all right the first time I’d do it that way. If you can’t and have to do the swap now you can always add the UCA later. The install cost will be cheaper if you do it all at the same time though.

Well put. Is there going to be a noticeably better ride quality ditching these strut spacers and going for an EMU lift or not a noticeable change?

yes, just make sure you get the correct coils........ you dont want heavy duty coils unless you have a winch and steel bumper.
Contact a supplier and find out what the right coils are for your desired lift and any aftermarket bumper or winch

This is mostly true for 2nd/3rd gens , myself & others with 1st gens fell into the upper limits of specs ,but were achieved without going to new UCA's...
