TRD Pro worth it?

Love my sport, but saw this at the dealership and couldn’t help but drool. If only the price tag wasn’t so ridiculous. Is this actually worth it for just some cosmetic differences and suspension?IMG_1729.jpg

It is pretty and that color is only offered on the Pro this year. If you don’t want to mess with mods and you have the money it’s worth it.
If you like to make it your own then I’d get the off-road save 10-15k and build it.

I wanted a Pro with a long bed but they don’t make the Pro with a long bed option so I bought the off road with a long bed and auto to get the crawl control. I’ll add king shocks later and it will be better than a pro. Bro Pro :D

I wanted the Off Road in a long bed and silver. Couldn’t find one anywhere locally so I got the Sport.
Still wish I had the Off Road but at least I got a useless hood scoop out of the deal.

Most people don’t know it’s useless. You’re still cool. ;)

I originally wanted the Pro in cement in a long bed with the auto. If they made it in a long bed I would have custom ordered and dropped the coin on it. I’m happy with my speeding white taco and it’s been fun modifying it.

My last truck was totaled so I wasn’t in a position to wait on a replacement. Honestly I’d have probably had one ordered or dealer traded to my local dealership.
Yeah that sucks being in that position. I was lucky I didnt have to buy. I had a Tundra Limited crew max TRD. I traded it in for the Tacoma after I found the one I wanted.

No and if I need a full size again I’ll go get another one. I like my taco for now.

I’m the same way. I drove Tacoma’s for years. I don’t really haul enough to need a full size. I liked the room but I’ve always loved the Taco and missed them. I’m back to Tacoma for good.

This is my first Tacoma but I’ve owned a lot of Toyota trucks and 4runners. I got into Subaru’s for a while then bought a Tundra when they went to the 5.7L and when they came out with this new Tacoma I wanted one but didn’t want to buy first year. Let the bigs work out. Really should have waited until 2018. Leather seats and TSS-P sounds nice to me. I keep looking at the 2018 cement DCLB OR thinking should I? Haha.

I’ll probably wait until 2020 see how the bugs work out of this new technology and let others figure out the mod situation. See what other cool features they add over the next few years. Auto start, power locking tailgate, Power seats and a full power rear window?

They got the cup holders right lol
What was the issue with them?

I did notice that I can actually use both cup holders at the same time, and still be able to shift the transmission. Something I can't do in my other car and it's 6 speed manual. (it's large engine and RWD make up for that though)

That and there’s a dozen of them. Haha
