I'm trying to figure out what I need to make that conversion happen. Also, where can I find a hood with the scoop?

What kind of conversion? SAS? I’m not understanding the conversion. Need more detail... Taking a 2006 and making it a 2012?
Sports have hood scoops. Wrecking yards, u-pull it, salvage yard. You can always get them from Toyota.

My truck is a TRD, would a SRS conversion work?? Well, basically I want to make my front end look like a 2012

Hood , headlights, grille, front bumper and possibly the bumper bar. Fenders are the same. You will also need a lot of misc brackets and stuff. There is a write up on TW that breaks it all down.... Good luck [emoji16]

You can find a good with a scoop and the front end parts you’re looking for at a bone yard if you look hard enough.
Like @OR17TRD said, it may be easier to just look for a 12 and sell yours?

For ****s and grins,

The trd sport and offroad required an sr5 package as a prereq.
So ALL trd 2nd gens also include an sr5 package.

Yet sr5 models are NOT all trd models.

Thats why u wont find a stock trd model without a rear slider, rear privacy glass, power/power/power, ac, intermittent, fogs, and so on.

Are you telling me a TRD can’t be converted to a SR5 because it already is?

Not what im saying.

As what i said was....

...... :p

So u could in theory rip out all the upgrades from the trd package and be left with an sr5.

Keep going and u could prolly strip it down to a rare utility/work option truck i suppose.
