2006-2012 Front End Conversion.

So u could in theory rip out all the upgrades from the trd package and be left with an sr5.

Keep going and u could prolly strip it down to a rare utility/work option truck i suppose.
Isn't the sr5 package just power windows, locks, cruise, ect??

Yes

For full specs, you can find toyota pdf files that breakdown the sr5 levels.
Ah.. Have u noticed how the later 2nd gens like 12-15 no longer say "V6 SR5" they just have the "V6" emblem.. They must have changed something then cause I'm sure those have pw, pl, and all that stuff..

Yep, discussed many times on tw.
It was around 2010 i think.

The trd package still required an sr5 package.
Like i said, you will NOT find a stock 2nd gen trd sport or offroad without a slider window, privacy rear glass, power/power/power, paint matched flares, buckets, ac, int wipers, and so on.

Toyota just didnt throw the badge on some year trucks.

Well @Bojangles you are a smart fritter.. But seriously you know these trucks. I thought it was only me that noticed these kind of details and thought wtf why did they take off the SR5 ...

Nah, its weird.
I mean hey, 1 less badge per thousands of vehicles can add up.
Same with the spare tires not having a tpms sensor after..... 2009 i think?
They may have gone back to 5 tpms sensors after a certain year, but i know some years in betweeen didnt get a spare sensor.

Money is money.
