Can anyone tell me

Invoice is usually $2000-3000 under MSRP. They will take $1000 under MSRP and be ok. You can also tell them ok I’ll give you MSRP but I want a 8yr or if they do a 10yr do that 125k mile platinum VSA 0$ deductible.
If you want a TRD Pro gille, lift, TRD wheels, bed mat, any other add ons nows the time to nagotiate that.

Wow, they are definitely not doing 2 to 3 k under msrp here in Ohio that I know of. They would not even give me 500 off MSRP. The dealer told me they only get a few and they have no problem selling them, in fact this guy was so stand offish, he told me that he gets enough foot traffic that he doesn’t need to take anything off the msrp, someone will buy it. He claims they have a 20 day turn over with these trucks.

I think I may have to search out of state. Any suggestion?

There was one dealer I went to said the same thing. Ask to see invoice. If they don’t want to show you I wouldn’t buy from them. Go somewhere else. They sound like dicks that don’t want to sale a truck. Is this the sales guy telling you this? He’s trying to make you think he has something special. Ask him if the rear diff has been fixed on it and if all the TSB’s are up to date and if the transmission fluid level has been manually checked because those are all issues the 2017 has had. He doesn’t have anything special and a 21 day turn around on a vehicle isn’t anything to brag about.

Here’s the thing man, there are a ton of dealerships that would love to have your money. If they are jerks about it than I’d go elsewhere.
I wouldn’t deal with a dealership that acts like they don’t need my business. There are a ton of dealerships in Ohio. I’m only one state down in West Virginia.
I would use CarGurus to look at the Toyota dealerships in a feasible driving radius, see what the best deal is, and talk to them. CarGurus lists market value, best deals, worst deals, etc.
Seriously, a dealership should be working for your business. Not you working to get them to deal with you. Especially with you going into the deal buying one with no negative equity.

The dealer was selling my 2017 trd off road access cab for 36k. They dropped it to a 33.5k managers special, but I think they did it out of pitty cause I was 4k in the hole on my trade lol

I got my TRD OFF ROAD double cab for 31,900 with 17 miles on it. But I didn't have bed mat or front mats. I just ordered a set of husky weather beater liners and I pay $85 for them.

I wanted a double cab but couldn't fit in the garage unless I got a short bed, and I needed a long bed. You got a great deal on yours. I wish I could've paid 31.9k but Mine came with all the of addons except the bed extender(which I don't understand concept if everything is tied down properly). I miss the good old days when you could buy a new pickup for 15k.or under. Them days are long gone.

Well the only thing I don't have I the JBL radio. I have the blind spot monitoring cross traffic alert heated seats all the bells and whistles just about.
