What are you drinking?

Growing up in California we always called it soda. I moved to the PNW and this happend... Resturant...
Waitress: you want a pop?
Me: excuse me?
Waitress: You want a pop?
Me: a pop of what?
Waitress: a soda pop!
Me: oh yes, coke please, thank you.
Waitress: we don’t have coke we have RC.
Me: what’s RC?
Waitress: it’s a cola.
Me: ok I’ll try that then. Thank you.
Haha.
Had a neighbor offer to bring a case of pop over for a party a week later and I knew what he was talking about.

Haha. I lived down south about half my life. The word “pop” is a foreign concept there too.
