I have a 15 trd off rd v6 dbl cab auto with 40,000 miles. 2 weeks ago I went to a dealer I had been working on for over 8 months to buy a 14 Baja 6speed v6dbl with 39,000 miles on it. Finally got fed up and told them I’d swap em straight up. And had already dropped the price 1200 less than I offered 4 months ago. They hit me at 2600 and mine even tho they had set on it for 242 days. They finally agreed to swap them even boy was I pumped up. I started swapping my things over and when the payment guy came out my payment went up 140 dollars. I hit the roof! Got them down to 80 difference a month but could not understand where that was even coming from. Ended up getting so mad and left. Went back the next morning to work the deal again and it sold a hour earlier that day. So bummed I didn’t do it any one have a story or such? Just trying to feel better about it lol

I bought mine in 2008 with 20K on it for about $22K

a week later found a truck trader magazine in my work locker with MY truck on display on the ramps in front of the dealer for $20K

went back, they matched the price.

so........... the 1 that didnt get away I guess.

That's a good deal. I paid 20k for mine 2 years ago. 2009 80k miles dcsb 4x4 sport. Best deal I could find and I searched for a long time.

Had a handshake deal on Taco truck back in 2011 when I went back to sign papers it was gone. That one still leaves a sour taste

PEErunner? I haven’t heard of that model. Lol
The 4x4 crowd like to use the term because it makes some owners of prerunners upset. I dont care tho, so ill throw the name around myself.

It’s had lots of issues with leaks.
Thankfully, i only had a common small coolant leak at my resi for the whiney box on the truck. The coolant crusts up and the leak stops on its own and ive never lost much coolant, so its not rlly an issue.

A lot of people prefer 2wd. If you live where it never snows then.... Yeah 2wd .... Plus it makes you truck a little lighter for that SC. [emoji16]
