Want to upgrade wheels/tires with no lift

Good day everyone, I'm new here. Just picked up a new TRD sport . Not interested in a lift at this time but I am wanting to get some new wheels. Can a 18" rim with -12 offset work with no other modifications? What size tire would be recommended

Congrats on the new Tacoma. Welcome to the forum. Yes 18” wheels are fine. -12 offset will work but is low. -6 is as low as I’d go with these trucks. Biggest tire you’ll be able to fit is 265/65/18 with no modifications.

On a 18x9 rim will a 265/60r18 fit as far as the width? Don't want the sidewalls looking all rounded, can't have the rim looking wider that the tire thread, lol.

265 is 10.4” wide they are only going to be 1.4” wider than the rim.

265/75/16 is the biggest you can go with no lift/trimming/rubbing according to Discount Tire.
I have Pro Comp 7032 16x8 4.5 backspace/0 offset with BFG T/A KO2 265/75/16. They stick out about 1-1 1/2" more than stock and don't rub at all

16' TRD Off Road DCLB Inferno

Thanks for the setup!! Looks and fits great. I did have to trim one inch of the inside mud flap but that was it. But I did go with the KM2 mud terrain. Might be the slight difference. Also, the old TPMS went in without an issue. Worst case scenario you can pickup a couple rebuild kits for a few bucks if there is an issue.
