Who has done work to their trucks with plastidip? Ill start off. I plastidipped my stock rims with matte black and was impressed with the result. It now gives my truck a meaner look and I made it so the tacoma logo still shows nicely and the luv nuts stay chrome.

It's like paint but its basically liquid rubber. You don't sand or anything you just clean the area you are Dippin then you spray it on. After several coats it dries like paint, but it peels off so if you don't like it or messed up you can take it off. For more info search "dip your car" on YouTube

I had done my grill and eyelids a while ago. The only dip on my truck now is on the cup holders just because I hate the gross silver.

My love and obsession with plastidip grows everyday. I've dipped my stock rims, stock grille, rear bumper, emblems on side of truck (rear is debadged), lower front bumper, fog light area (not sure what its called lol)...though I need to re do it because I tried to do too much at the same time and my edges are bad. I dipped my flag pole mount in my bed. And I'm seriously considering dipping my roof...if I don't like it, it'll come right off! Figured it would add a smidge more protection from the low branches on the trail.

I am actually going to plastidip all chrome on my vehicle just bought the new 2013 taco... I'm going to do all emblems as well see how well the carbon fiber looks on the emblems. Pretty cool and legit looking. It is no carbon fiber replacement but just want the carbon fiber look on my emblems.

Hey Ryan...I think this weekend we should take all day Saturday to prep and paint with a non permanent paint so we can peel it off later which no one ever does.
