Engine RPM’s turning the steering wheel

I have a 2017 SR5 and since I got it when I turn the steering wheel the engine revs up 300 rpm. The dealer said it was normal but I have a friend who has the same truck without this problem. Anyone else have this program?
Yes. I have the same issue, and same vehicle. When backing out of a tight parking space, with my foot gently on the brake, if the steering wheel is turned even the slightest amount, the truck speeds up! This can be pretty hazardous, because more, unexpected braking is required to avoid colliding with the vehicle next to me. My dealer says everything is functioning per Toyota specifications. Even though this could potentially produce a very low speed collision, it should be important enough to be addressed by Toyota.

I would sell and take public transport.

Before i sleeps.....i have nothing to offer but, why not?

RPM stands for:
revolutions per minute

So isnt it "my rpm climbs"
Not "my rpms climb"?

2500rpm is not 2500rpms
2500rpms would be revolutions per minutes right?
Thats not an accurate measurement... as "minutes" isnt on your tach. Thats on your clock.

I can say "my truck does 2500rpm at 70mph in drive"

Or maybe??? "my truck does 5000rp2ms at 70mph in drive" as 5k revolutions per "2" minutes would still be 2500 RPM?

I mean, we dont say "the speed limit is 70 miles per hours" right?
How many hours did it take for the first 20 miles of your trip?

Or is the question.... "how many miles did you travel going westbound on the i5 pulling the 2 axle trailer up siskiyou peak"?
