Jerking While Stopped and Stopping

Hey Guys, yesterday my truck did something a bit weird and I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing. It's an 06 4WD TRD SR5

When coming to a stop or while stopped, my truck jerks forward hard enough to the point where it made me feel as if the person behind bumped me. It seems to happen at random and yesterday was the first time it ever happened, but only a few times. I always noticed a bit of a jerk when the AC compressor engaged but this was a much more noticeable jerk.

Anyone else experience this before or know what could cause it? It seems to occur when coming to a stop more quickly than I normally would.

Axel wrap.

I disagree with the axle wrap idea here. My 2017 does the same. I say it is the transmission. But it usually happens to me only when cold. I have started shifting to neutral for the first 5 stops and it doesn’t give that bump. Try it.

Also decelerating really really slowly helps also. I mean really slow!!! I just don’t have the patience for that so I go to neutral.

The automatic transmissions do that for some reason. Just another reason to go with standard transmission.
So the manual transmission doesn’t ever have axel wrap? Do they have better leaf packs.
My understanding of axel wrap is that the axel is able to rotate due to weak leaf springs causing a snap back that feels like you get bumped after stopping.
Am I missing something?
