Oh yea. Didn’t think about that.
I sanded it to 350 before I put 3 coats of adhesion promoter. Then 3 coats of primer , then wet sanded that to 600. Cleaned it with soap and water. Then did 4 coats of base coat. Then 4 coats of gloss

You should be fine. That’s a pretty tough load of paint.

Looks much better. Welcome to the forum. You did it right. A little over kill but it should last. Haha

I worked with a guy in Marin county doing remodels on million $$ homes and he use to step back after the job and say that “ well boys it looks good from my house let’s clean up and get the **** out of here” haha.
 
That makes it even better!!
There's some guys who say it jokingly, then there's the guys who say it to excuse themselves for cutting corners,... They're usually very easy to tell apart.

"That looks like garbage, why didn't you do it like we discussed?"

"Looks good from my house!!!"

"FIRED!"
