New tires

I want to get some 33in tires for my 2015 Tacoma. Any brand recommendations ?
..... uses?
Lift?
Location?

Brand reccomendations wont help much imho, i could find u a great mud that will kill u onroad in the rain, or a great street tire that would be an ice skate in gravel.... within the same brand.

Duratracs are decent if ur not gunna be around lava fields or other sharp rocks.

They should be fine in the sand if aired down, fine in dirt, good on road (good siping) and good in mud/snow due to the large voids. They are a little loud, but not as bad as muds.

If u want something bulletproof, but heavy, check out the cooper st maxx.

Firestone destinations are decent, but fairly tame.

If not around them sharp jagged rocks, load range C will be fine and save u gas money due to tires being lighter and offer a smoother ride.

If ur gunna be around sharp rocks often or need a bulletproof tire and dont care about mileage, and can deal with a stiffer sidewall, get load range E.

I’m liking the cooper st max. They got a good look. And also like that they’re bulletproof cause I’m hard on equipment lol

I see that they have 315/70R17 for the cooper tires. Would I need to do any trimmer for these ?
It would probably cause you less headaches if you went for a 285/70R17,... that's a 32.7x 11.2.... 315/70R17 is about 34.4x 12.4.... unless you plan on re-gearing in the near future, you'll probably be highly disappointed in how slow your Tacoma becomes. Plus, you could get away with skipping the CMC if you aren't comfortable with doing it right now, just get your caster set around 2.75-3.25

Would I still need trimming to do with the 285/70R17?
And are you saying to set my caster with those or with the 315/70R17

No mud flaps and very little heating and molding on the wheel well with the 285/70/17. You really want the caster 2.5-4 on anything bigger than stock. You could still do the CMC if you off road heavy but not required for light off road ie dirt/gravel fire forest roads.
