Your Dogs

My dog has seasonal allergies, do horses get them too?
He gets itchy, and sniffles.
Most likely our fault since hes inside most the time.

Yes omg[emoji849] they (both horses) get steroids every other day in the summer. They developed an allergy to a midge bite (kind of like a gnat). After the first frost, they’re good. The black horse, Sassy, isn’t near as bad as Charlie (the one pictured). He’ll rub his face and butt raw.

Do you think he picked something up from the beach?
We all got ticks from a trail we tried to take (was blocked further down the way by poisonoak). While i stopped us before we came into contact with the poison oak, we picked up about 20 ticks between the 3 of us.

We stopped at the vets office on the way home and got him some nexgaurd oral treatment for fleas and ticks.

So the vet said he most likely got an upset stomach from it.

Good to hear Dug is fine.
