Things that make you say WTF...

Im only 34 and the boot camp, infantry training and airborne (parachutist) training in 2001 is a distant memory.
Getting to the 82nd Airborne as a Private was a rude awakening too. “Hazing” is an understatement. But it broke me and made me listen and learn. I.E. It kept me alive.
This softening of standards doesn’t help anyone. If you can’t hack it you can’t hack it. No more grenade or land navigation qualification?!?! Two of the most basic skills. They are supposedly tightening up on PT and discipline again so that’s a step to the right direction.

Similar when I went thru A school in ‘89. Learn it and if you fail you get to do it again.
