I have a 2016 Tacoma 4x4. When traveling at 70 (which is hard on gas mileage) there is a whistle if there is a cross wind. While parked, if the wind blows 25 mph, the whistle is noticeable. It's not from the front. It's a howling from the gap between the cab and bed. I'm looking for help in...
I have 2016 4X4 Access Cab. I get 15.8 mpg combined. Along with poor mpg is the crappy Entune App on my Samsung S5 and a really bad wind noise from the doors that the dealership says is the ports to let air into the cab. Three issues. Poor mpg, wind noise (Toyota should fix these) and a bad app.
I have a 2016 4X4 with tow package. I get 15.6 on a good tank, when I drive VERY conservatively. The highest I have gotten is 19.6 on a new tank. The transmission shifts into 6th going 35 mph and the engine boggs.
I'm with you. I get 15.6 mpg in the city. Highest I've gotten is 19.8 mpg. That was highway after a fill up. If I had known Toyota lied on the expected mpg, I'd probably purchased some other vehicle as well.
I was just in for my first service. I told them about the noise and they said it was only on the 4door model and I have an access cab. The noise is offending.
