How many miles are on the truck? Mine has 175k with stock cv axles. It should be pretty easy to tell if the cv axle is bad. If it’s making a pop and a click that’s the sound they make when the ball bearings fall out of them.
What do you have for wheels and tires? I had Mickey Thompson 10 ply tires that rode like junk on the highway and would shake on and off. They also had the small bbs inside the tire to balance them.
My 09 TRD Tacoma has 175k on it I still haven’t had any issues with the drive shaft. I’ll have to keep an eye on it thanks! I’ve had it for 4 years and make sure to grease it with the oil changes I do
I have set trips at a full tank and divided it out a few times I get right around 11. I have a 6 inch lift with 34s. 17x10 wheels. Mickey Thompson baja tires. 80% highway too. 6 speed

Make sure you use your stock lug nuts with the stock wheels. They have a shoulder that sits inside of the wheel. Keeping it lined up. Going down the road I look over and see my tire flying through the woods..
What are everyone’s thoughts on a 2” wheel spacer? Are they safe to have when pulling a trailer and or having a 650 lb four wheeler in the back. Just ordered some trail gear ones.
I’d start by pressure washing all of your suspension. Tends to work on mine I think some dirt and stuff gets stuck inside where you don’t want it Once it dries I use some heavy duty silicone spray because it’s clear and dries so stuff doesn’t stick to it. Any lube will work tho make sure to...
Did you get your 4-wheel drive fixed yet? I might know the issue. Put it in 4 wheel with the vehicle off. Start it. And see if it switches over. If it does it means the actuator is too weak to switch to 4 wheel while under tension. Same thing happened to mine ! Let me know
