    Atkinson cycle 3.5

I had the pedal commander for two days. Solved nothing, just gave you a super sensitive throttle. The Atkinson idea isn't a bad one, but the torque curve has to be lowered for truck use. In a small car my engine would be a rocket, but alas, I don't want to wind the piss out of the engine...

    Atkinson cycle 3.5

Unfortunately, whoever designed the engine made the torque and horsepower curves about 2500 rpm too high for practical use.

    Adding rear cross traffic alert

It would have been nice if the price was within reason, say $700 total. Then what if you buy all the parts, install them and it doesn't work?? (my luck). Oh well, my brainstorm.

    Adding rear cross traffic alert

    I resemble that remark.

    Adding rear cross traffic alert

It seems that if a rear wiring harness is needed, the price is just short of crazy. The sensors are over $500 for all 4.

    Adding rear cross traffic alert

As my truck does not have this feature, I would have to say yes, I believe so. I'm wondering if the rear harness for the sensors is already there, or is it a different harness??

    Adding rear cross traffic alert

Is it possible to add rear cross traffic alert to my 2018 TRD of road? I understand the wiring harness is under the dash, not sure about the wiring harness to the rear of the vehicle.

Best price or should I work em for more discount?

I have a friend that used Costco for his Tundra. He was very satisfied.

    differential repair

It can't hurt, but I doubt that it will cure the leak. There should be a gasket between the carrier and the housing.

    differential repair

I'm not sure what the Toyota gasket looks like, but FelPro makes their carrier gaskets (the one on your truck that leaks) that are imprinted with a bead of silicone around the perimeter and around the bolt holes. Best gaskets out there. Most likely the rear housing has a dig in the mating...

    differential repair

As you said, when you removed the fill plug you released any pressure. That would remain so until you drove the truck again and the rear axle became warm. If you have more than a weep, just a stain from the gear oil, then you have a problem caused by whoever did the repair.

    differential repair

When I removed the vent from my rear axle the truck was overnight cold and parked inside. There was enough pressure in the rear axle housing to pop the vent plug out when it reached it's last thread.

    differential repair

I would give Toyota zero slack on that drip. When I bought my 2018 off road I had rear axle seeping from the carrier gasket and around the carrier bolts. I installed a vent in the rear axle and in 15,000 miles there are no leaks or any weeping at all. The 'vent' that Toyota puts in the rear...

    Rear brake job

If you have a bad memory, take some pics before you disassemble the brakes. As said, do one side at a time. Pay particular attention how and where the springs are anchored and which way the short end of the brake adjuster faces. Brake lube (lubriplate among others) makes for a professional job.

    Spark plugs

That one spark plug that had a good bit of deposits makes me wonder if that cylinder is using a bit of oil. It used to be in an engine that used a carburetor that you would get a lean or rich cylinder because fuel distribution changed over different rpm ranges. Since the truck is fuel...
