It is annoying. A year later the truck has me trained to shut the engine down before opening the door about 90% of the time. The other 10% i just shut the door real quick and reopen.

I second the bakflip. I have the vp which is the vinyl covered of what pg has. No lines so it looks clean. I really like how it sits flush. The only time i get any water is at the car wash. Ive been through some HEAVY rain with a bed full of stuff i was sure was going to get wet and ruined but...
