I've never had a place short me a 1/2 quart before... Annoying. The place has good reviews, but if they're skimping on something simple... What else are they doing?

I've had my truck since it rolled off the line, only 3 miles on it. It has almost 250,000 miles on it, with regular oil changes. Every time, it's taken 6 quarts of oil with each change... Until this last time This place claims it only needs 5 1/2 quarts. Just for peace of mind, how much does...
